This portion of Movie Meetinghouse is currently under construction. We plan to have it implemented by the time our Beta phase is complete.
MMh Trades will serve as Members' personalized news source about content, events, and other notices on Movie Meetinghouse. Members will decide what types of information they'd like to be kept in the loop about, and their Trades will be tailored to their preferences.
The following are just a few examples of categories that will be included in the MMh Trades:
- New Virtual Cinema content, which can be customized by member's tastes and favorites. For insance, if you want to know about new educational movies that have been added, or anything having to do with butterflies, or anything starring Jeremy Sisto, or if you wish to be notified whenever one of the Member Cinemas that you have added to your Favorites has a new movie, your MMh Trades will be tailored to provide that specific information.
- Local Screenings Activity in your general vicinity. You will be able to set a personalized distance/proximity around your zip code, and the MMh Trades will keep you informed of any new Movie Clubs and Screening Venues within that area. Furthermore, Movie Club members will be kept in the loop about any news or events from their clubs, and any new Digital Movies that become available to screen with an audience. Naturally, information about new Digital Movies can also be customized according to any number of criteria, including, but not limited to genre, length, director, cast, keywords, etc.
- Win Win Advertising content. As new advertising content becomes available, you can learn about it in your MMh Trades. This information, like all the rest, can be specific to your interests. For instance, if you have decided to focus solely on renewable energy in your Virtual Cinema ads, your MMh Trades will only show you new renewable energy ads that have just been submitted to the MMh database.
- MMh Classifieds. Everything from jobs on movie sets to Members looking to hire Movie Makers to shoot a commercial for their product to be shown in Virtual Cinemas to want ads for movie equipment to announcements about movie classes or events in your area to anything else you can think of that falls under the "Classifieds" category can be found here. As with everything else in the MMh Trades, this can all be tailored to your tastes, preferences, locale, etc.
- MMh and Member Events, which can be personalized by member's interests. For example, if you are a major Sci-Fi fan, you may wish to be informed about a special chat that a MMh member has set up in their Virtual Cafe (Coming Soon) with Terry Gilliam*. Or, perhaps you love documentaries, in which case you would want to know about a special live streaming interview with Ken Burns*. Whatever your interests, your MMh Trades will bring you the news that matters to you.
