Movie Meetinghouse was designed by moviemakers for moviemakers.
By developing audiences with varied tastes in movies, and enlarging the choices from the traditional “Hollywood fare”, Movie Meetinghouse gives independents and alternative voices a way to reach their audience.
Unlike the traditional promotional system, which can cost millions of dollars, our social word-of-mouth system costs the moviemaker nothing.
HOW IT WORKS
For ON LINE STREAMING
The biggest money maker for movies.
If your movie is already available on a site that adds commercials for revenue, or pays you a fee, MMh will drive an audience to your movie. OR the movie’s Rights Holder can post the movie on the web, and register at MOVIE MEETINGHOUSE.
Any site with O EMBED works with Moivemeetinghouse (YouTube, Vimeo, and Yahoo Videos, to name a few, click here for a complete list).
When you Register your movie with MMh:
You will be able to choose a pay-per-view fee, From 10 cents to 3 dollars, or add commercials to your movie when it is viewed at an MMh Virtual Cinema. (See our win-win advertising section) Moviemakers receive a large percent of the revenue, while MMh keeps a small percentage. You can connect with the MMh community to, for example, offer an exclusive to popular MMh Member virtual cinemas that will commit to promoting your movie.
Local Screenings Venues: Once our local screenings wing is live, Movie Makers can make their movies available for Local theaters and alternative venues which screen movies for a local audience. Here, you will have direct access to cinema owners. You can offer a percentage of your gross to encourage them to feature your movie.
Our Registration System will also be a place to check to see who the Rights Holder is. This, combined with our Bounty Hunter reward system, will be a new and innovative way to eliminate illegally posted movies.
Members of the moviemaking team can assist in promoting the movie. (actors, writers, directors, designers, grips etc.) can make themselves available for live video chats, hosted in Coffee shops in Cinema Owners neighborhoods. (In time those who “give great chat” can charge for this.) As MMh grows, moviemakers and cinema owners will undoubtedly develop more and more ways to reach an audience.
